Important information about your booking, stay, and use of Quarterdecks Retreat.

Booking Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Quarterdecks Retreat ("the Property") and the guest making the reservation. By making a reservation, guests acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Reservation Requirements

  • Payment: A valid credit card must be provided at the time of booking. Management may require a security deposit at its discretion, either prior to arrival or at check-in.
  • Identification: Valid photo identification must be presented at check-in.

 

Cancellation, Payments and Modifications

Non-Refundable Rates / Special Deals:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • No refunds will be provided in the event of cancellation.

Standard Rates:

  • Payment will be processed 7 days prior to arrival.
  • Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before the arrival date.
  • Cancellations or modifications within 7 days of arrival will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking value.
  • No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.

Peak Season (Christmas, New Year & Easter):

  • A deposit may be required to secure the booking.
  • Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Modifications:

  • Changes to bookings are subject to availability and management approval.
  • Amendments may result in a rate adjustment.

Early Departure:

  • No refunds will be issued for early departures unless agreed to by management.


Accommodation Policies

  • No-Party Policy: Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Disturbance to other guests may result in immediate eviction without refund.
  • Dog Policy: Not all villas are suitable for dogs. Guests are required to notify management at or prior to booking if they intend to bring a dog. Additional charges and conditions apply.


Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 2:00 pm
  • Check-out: By 10:00 am
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Guests will be notified via SMS if early check-in is available.


Age Requirement

  • Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation.


General Conditions

  • Right to Refuse Service: Management reserves the right to refuse accommodation or entry, or to cancel bookings, at its discretion.
  • Behaviour: Inappropriate, abusive, or disruptive behaviour may result in eviction without refund.
  • Compliance: Guests must comply with all applicable by-laws, rules, and regulations of the property. Breaches may result in termination of the stay.
  • Smoking and Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside villas, including garages. A cleaning fee of up to $250 may apply.
  • Property and Vehicles: Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and vehicles. The Property, management, villa owners, and Body Corporate accept no liability for loss or damage.
  • Use of Premises: The property must not be used for any unlawful purpose.
  • Right to Inspect: Management reserves the right to enter and inspect the property with reasonable notice, or without notice where a breach of these terms is suspected.


Acceptance of Terms

All bookings, whether made directly or via third-party platforms, are subject to these Terms and Conditions. The person making the booking accepts these terms on behalf of all guests included in the reservation.



DOG FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION POLICY

At Quarterdecks Retreat, we welcome our guests' furry companions and offer a dog-friendly environment. This policy outlines the conditions under which your dog is permitted to stay at our retreat.


Eligibility and Dog Size Limit: We welcome well-behaved dogs, with a maximum of two dogs. Each dog must weigh no more than 15 kg.


Booking Requirements: As not all villas are suitable for dogs, guests are required to notify us at or prior to booking if they intend to bring any dog(s), to ensure appropriate accommodation is allocated.


Pet Fee: A pet stay fee (non-refundable) is charged to cover the additional costs of cleaning, sanitising, and maintaining the accommodation to a high standard for future guests. This fee does not cover specialised cleaning or waste disposal required due to negligence or carelessness by the pet owner.

  • 1–2 nights: $50 total pet fee
  • 3–7 nights: $100 total pet fee
  • 7 nights or more: $100 plus an additional $14 per extra night

Additional Dog Fee: If bringing a second dog, an additional fee of $10 per night applies.


Bond: A $300 security/damage bond is required. This bond will be refunded after inspection at check-out, provided there is no damage, pet waste, or need for specialised cleaning.


Rules and Etiquette:

  • Dogs must be well-behaved at all times. Pet owners are fully responsible for their dog’s behaviour.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash whenever they leave the villa.
  • Dogs must not be left unattended in the villa or courtyard. If you plan to go on a tour or outing, please arrange suitable boarding for your dog.
  • Dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture.
  • Pet owners are responsible for any damage caused by their dogs.
  • Pet owners responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Dogs must not defecate or urinate inside the villas. Our team is not responsible for the disposal of pet waste.


Dog-Free Zones: The recreation area within the accommodation complex is a designated dog-free zone. Please respect this area.


Liability: Guests are liable for any injuries or damage caused by their dogs and for any specialised cleaning required due to negligence or carelessness, including pet waste clean-up.


Management Discretion: Management reserves the right to request the removal of any dog whose behaviour is disruptive or poses a risk to other guests.
