Booking Terms and Conditions

These Booking Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Quarterdecks Retreat and the guest making a reservation. By making a reservation at Quarterdecks Retreat, guests acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.

Reservation Requirements:

  • Payment: All reservations require guests to provide valid credit card details or pay a security deposit, as deemed appropriate by management, before or upon check-in.
  • Identification: Guests are obligated to provide valid photo identification during the check-in process.

Cancellations and Refunds:

  • Cancellation Policy: A cancellation policy applies to all bookings. Guests are encouraged to review and understand the specific terms related to cancellations and refunds.
  • Early Departure: There is no refund for early departure unless mutually agreed upon by the management.

Accommodation Policies:

  • No-Party Policy: Guests may be required to sign a no-party policy at check-in. Disruption of other guests’ peace may result in eviction without a refund.
  • Dog-Friendly Policy: Refer to the separate policy and conditions for guests bringing dogs. Charges apply.

Age Requirement:

  • Minimum Age: Reservations can only be made by persons over the age of 18.

General Terms:

  • Management Discretion: Management reserves the right to refuse accommodation, cancel direct bookings, or enforce necessary actions to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Acceptance of Terms: All bookings, whether made directly or via participating websites or travel agents, are made subject to these terms and conditions. The person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these terms on behalf of the guest who will be staying.

Payment, Cancellation and Modification Policy

We accept Visa and Mastercard for all transactions.

Non-Refundable Rate/Special deals:

  • The total price of the reservation will be charged upon booking. No refunds will be given if the booking is cancelled.

Flexible Rate:

  • Payment for accommodation will be processed 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Free cancellation up to 14 days before the arrival date.
  • If cancelled or modified later, 100 percent of the total reservation price will be charged.
  • In the case of a no-show, the total reservation price will be charged.
  • Peak Season: (School Holidays in Queensland, Easter, Christmas/New Year) A deposit may be required to secure the booking.


Guests may request modifications to their reservation, subject to availability and approval. Any changes may impact the booking rate.

General Terms and Conditions

Responsibility for Motor Vehicles and Personal Property: 

Guests are responsible for their motor vehicles and personal property. Management, villa owners, and the Body Corporate are not liable for any damage or loss.

Compliance with By-laws, Rules, and Regulations: 

Guests and visitors must adhere to the by-laws, rules, and regulations of the complex.  Non-compliance may lead to the termination of the stay.

Prohibited Use: 

The villa must not be used for any unlawful purpose.

Smoking and Vaping:

Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the villa, including the garage. A penalty fee of up to $250 may be charged for breaches.

Right to Inspect: 

Management retains the right to inspect any villa, with reasonable notice or without notice if non-compliance is suspected.

Right to Refuse Entry:

Management can refuse entry for any reason, including past conduct adverse to the accommodation. Discretion is with the management to refuse service or entry.

Inappropriate or Offensive Behaviour: 

Management has the right to refuse service or remove patrons for inappropriate or offensive behaviour.

  • Opting out of certain communications is possible, although it may impact your access to some services.
